My first twisted coil

I did my first twisted coil today. 4 wraps of twisted .28 kanthal on my RSST. It hits like an artic driving over my throat. Absolutely awesome.

Its all in the Taste hehe, glad it worked out for you, would not surprise me that your next few would give you improved taste more so :) Enjoy thou.
 
I tried it today. I used to work on aircraft and we used lock bolts and nuts with twisted wire. So I used that tool to twist .2 kanthal then while still holding it in tool heated it then so it keeps its shape. I used that for a dual coil setup in my igo w sige 19e set up with ekowool. Its coming in at 0.5 ohms (4 wraps). It doesnt fire as quick compared to single strand. But imo its nice. Very nice indeed.

I agree the heat up time is marginally longer but when it gets going it gets bloody hot.
