Good morning,
It finally arrived, and boy is it lovely, right out the box, i put an ego/510 adapter on, seeings as how the V2 i was using, has all the threads stripped, and i wasn't prepared to ruin this one. My V2 still works absolutely fine, but only with a mini protank.
I will say that the option to use RMS or AVG s still there, only on the menu, AVG is called "Mean". Its exactly the same to change over, 10 second hold down on the left button.
All in all the V5 is a good bit of kit, and for £29, you cant grumble.
Oh, just while i think of it, i did add 2 ego plinths, 1 to the Vamo, wide side down, and 1 to the adapter, wide side up towards my protank 2. I did this mainly for stability reasons, but it does hide all the threads aswell.
