Hi guys iv just built a 24g twisted dule coil on a twisted messes v2 and put it on my mod and the ohm keep changing when I fire it can anyone help me please??

What wire and how much is it fluctuating?
Check the post screws, the heat can loosen them after installing coils.

It's kanthal wire and I have just tightened the post screws and it is better when I turn it on it is at about 0.11 then when I hit fire it goes to 0.23 and stays there until I leave it a while then go back to it and it starts of at 0.11 again

The main thing that would be causing it is the post screws not being tightened down all the way.

Kanthal is usually quite on point, so I'm surprised this is doing this. Did you dry fire the coils ? It may also depend on the device,
If it's not designed for super sub ohm it may not be hugely accurate that low. I brought a DNA200 device because I noticed my ipv sometimes did this

What mod are you using? The resistance of coils does increase when you fire them and some mods show that changing resistance.

I'm using ipv 5 I have spoke to them as I have tried a few other tanks on it and it says the same on all my tanks so iv got to send it back for repair or exchange

I'd hold off on that until other ipv5 owners confirm whether theirs does that or not. I suspect it's perfectly normal. My ipv D2 displayed the changing resistance as the coils heated and it was supposed to.

It also says short and won't fire at all I took it to Vape club they had a look and said it's no good

The ipv5 only handles ohms down to 0.15 mate as far as i know, it has an atomizer resistance range of 0.15 to 3.0 ohms. thats probably why its showing as a short.
