What's new

my rx200 is pants

Mine is pissing me off. Works fine for a while then defaults to power mode. Can move to Ni mode but prompts for new atty. Have to unscrew atty and set locked resistance again to get Ti mode. OK, it's cheap but I get the same performance from a parallel mechanical with much less faffing.

Only had mine a day and everything is working fine. The only thing that bugged me today, was upgrading from 1.07 to 1.08. After I upgraded, the thing went dead. Wouldn't even turn on. I tried the upgrade again, and it worked.
This my first regulated mod and I'm loving it. Loaded with an authentic Mephisto V2 primed with chronic cookie. 150 watts, and it blew my tits off. But it satisfied me. :D

Been using the RX200 for about a week now. Upgraded and running with no issues, it was only a problem getting it into the country. I ordered from China and due to customs, it was sent back. Luckily, at the retailers expense they gave it to DHL. Got delivered to me in 3 days.

Best £25 spent.

That sounds like a problem with the atty not the device, you're most likely getting a short somewhere thats causing the resistance change to stay almost flat - so the mod thinks it's a non TC build...

I wondered about that but it works fine on my other TC device. Maybe just one of those things where the two parts are not compatible for some odd reason. Thing is when I unscrew it an screw it back on it works fine for anything from an hour to a day. Will try a different atty/build.

Check the centre pin on the atty, if it's really flush you might get problems there, other most likely culprit is the coil...
