Need some help please

Hi all, I'm new here and just need some advice on building some MTL coils for an atmizoo tripod.

Attached is a picture of my 1 day old coil which is 28g Kanthal round build at around 0.8 ohms. My juice is not really sweet its Game ot vapes Jon Snow I vape below 15w. Can some advise why this is happening after a days use.

Any help would be greatly appreciated if you could also advise what build I should be using for MTL under 15w that would be great thanks

Hello @Qasim and welcome

For me that looks like coil gunk from sweet juice and additives and food colouring.

you can reduce this by vaping at a lower watt, tc vaping , using plan round wire. SS316 is a better wire for sweet juice simply because it’s easier to clean.

But Ultimately it’s sweet juice and if that’s your thing you’ll have to bite the bullet and appreciate that you will be wicking every few days

Different deck size can impact juice flow...

Different tanks perform differently with regards to watts

Different deck size can impact juice flow...

its definitely coil gunk in my view with maybe a little burnt cotton, but that’s probably from the gunk as well

i think @dovpo_uk is right, but the liquid might be a bit thick for that tank. you could put more pg in it and see if it works better.

Thank you all. Is 70/30 not optimal for a Atmizoo tripod. Can anyone recommend best coil for that tank with 70/30 juice. Looking to vape around 15w also does the mod matter I use an obs engine 100w but do have a few odin 100w mods @dovpo_uk. Also looking for a dicodes micro in black as it looks awesome but won't really use all the features any knocking about?

The mod doesn’t matter tbh and happy to hear you have some Odins.

Vaping at 15w you will need 50/50 juice. 70vg will most prob be too thick as that needs higher wattage like a subtank for direct to lung.

Ok so last night i watched a YT video on twisted coils. I decided to make my own twisted 28G wire. All went well made a 6 Wrap coming out at 0.75 Ohm. This has give me no dry hits so far and i can chain vape this, only issue i have is flavour is a little muted than regular round and it's alot warmer. Do i just need to wrap it some more or possibly try 30G? Thank you all.
