Nemesis top cap/510 connection

Evening all.

After a wee incident involving not locking off the switch and resulting in the ruination of my beloved Mephisto V1 and a damned good VTC4 I have finally cleared the crap and smell off the Nemesis.

But, the delrin insert to the top cap that holds the 510 connection screw is loose and won't re-seat in the brass part.

So, what glue could/should I use to re fit it?
Or would a wee bodge of sparky tape round the delrin part be alright?

I would add pix but camera on phone is being difficult.

Don't be a tight arse, just buy a clone from FT for a tenner and replace it.

It is an original Nemesis, so ah don't want to weegie it with fast tech bits...

Surely you mean plumbers tape HDPE (is that the right letters) , surely that should do it.
Let us know when you do whatever.
If HDPE does not work there is nothing lost.

Ah, aye, that could be the stuff I was thinking of, but I vaguely have recollection of mention on here of safe to use in mechs/mods glue as a longer term solution.

PTFE Tape works as a workaround.
