What's new

New Boy

I have only changed the coil once in 6 months when it burnt out, I normally have to clean it out, take out the old piece of burnt/used cotton & put a new bit of cotton in (this can be 3/4 times a week so I dont get the burnt taste). I used this for 6 months without having a smoke but it became to easy to run downstairs and buy a packet of fags instead of going into town to the vape shop. The coil you just buy from the shop and screw it in. 10.5 W is what the guy in the shop said to keep it on. The juice they sell me is made by them, its not a "brand" named one as such. VG 30% PG 70% 12 MG/ML. All I want is a tank where I dont have to muck around with so much, plastic mouth piece instead of stainless steel. I see them on other peoples but I have no idea...

Also I dont seem to have so much vape coming out when exhaling? Wether thats just me again I dont know. Its a shame as I have gone back to it now & feel great not smoking, not even needing a cigarette & I just dont want to go back to them like last time. I enjoy vaping more than a cigarette & want to continue without the hassle, I get I need to clean the tank and all that which is fine, I would get two if I new what to get.
looking at that tank i thought the idea was to just change the whole coil whenever it burnt out. as ive not seen or used i have no idea how you are taking the cotton out and putting in fresh.
hopefully someone that has used once can advise.

This is it broken down

Call me cynical but if this set-up is what your local vape shop suggested for you I would say they are probably more interested in shifting old stock, check out the forum threads or youtube vids for reviews and tutorials and if you don't think the shop staff have your best interests at heart give them a wide berth! welcome to the site!

That's a strange recommendation for a tank these days.
Good news is you can buy a different tank entirely. The screwhole on the mod is an industry standard called a "510" connection, so almost any tank on the market right now will work on your coolfire.

Alternatively, you can change the mouthpiece, it also looks like a standard connection, also a "510" connection.

As for changing cotton? Much harder to avoid, you could look at tanks that take stock coils, where you just unscrew the whole thing and screw in a new one, but most of us avoid those as they are expensive and can sometimes be a bit unreliable.

All is good now, have two new tanks. Kangertech Sub Tank Mini for my normal tank & an Aspire Cleito EXO for a bit of fun. Hopefully it should be smooth sailing now. Thanks for all your advice people !!!
