Less work if they don't have to bother, still cant believe they sent it back to you, fucking idiots. I for one will not be going near them. Did you have to pay postage, to send it back, or have it returned to you?

Is it possible to update the firmware. Maybe try a reset, it's for a different mod, but you never know..

How do I reset my aegis 100W?
To do a factory reset on the Legend, put the batteries in and turn OFF the mod by pressing the fire button five (5) times. Press '+' and '-' at the same time and then press the fire button all at the same time.

Try putting it in TC mode, fiddle with your settings, anything is worth a try.

I had a similar issue I had my mod locked to a previous config and did a tank coil rebuild forgot I had a lock on and my mod kept asking me if this was a new coil every few minutes I guess because after I selected new or old it just went back to the locked version after a few minutes of inactivity, anyhow did the reset listed here then selected new and that cleared it. thank you for the directions. kudos to you. O yeah my mod was a geek vape aegis solo with a steam crave supreme v3 rdta single coil build. I am back happy vaping again.

I know this is an old thread, but just wanted to add that I've had the exact same old coil? New Coil? Issue since I purchased my Lost Vape Ursa Quest mod on launch, and it still drives me nuts.
Fortunately I have other mods to fall back on, but I do get really great flavour from the RBA deck, so that's why I haven't dumped it yet.
