New here! Need some advice on MTL from DTL vaping!

Why would you say this? I'm curious, at the moment I'm basically cloud chasing with just under 3mg at 50-60w. Dont think I'd go over 6mg, but thank you! I thought at around 20w with these I could easily use higher if wished?

I've tried the 0.7 mesh coil with 12mg nic. To say it was harsh with that amount of nic would be an understatement. Also the higher in watts you go the quicker the nic seems to be delivered. So 12mg could blow your head off at 25 watts.

You'll often struggle to get the same flavour and nicotine delivery from your juice if you switch from a DTL kit to an MTL kit. MTL gets through less juice, but works better with higher than 3mg nicotine and also a lower VG ratio. If you stick to the same juice you'll get through less of it, but it might not deliver enough nic or flavour. I use 50/50 but 60/40 VG/PG is OK, and I think some of the tanks you mention will do 70/30 VG/PG ........ but others will have to confirm that.

The Nautilus will take up to 60vg/40pg, beyond that the coils struggle to wick properly, the Zenith fares better and will take 70vg/30pg but you do have to be a bit careful, I don't know about the other tank as not used it.
Crewella is absolutely spot on, MTL will use less liquid but the delivery is different. I use 12mg when I MTL but 3mg when I DL. I know you say you want to MTL but you can always do both!! Keep your Smok tank for a bit of DL and buy an MTL tank and you can just chop and change. If the Smok is using too much liquid then find a different DL tank and use less wattage.

I have nothing to add about kit for you. All my kit is old school and not available, but wanted to say that if you move to kit with tighter airflow, vape at lower power with higher nic you will vape less juice ,whether you mtl or dtl it.

My kit is mainly considered mtl and I only watch mtl threads because that is the only place I will see kit I might be interested in.

Do I mtl?
Very rarely, I mostly dtl. It is a looooooong slow dtl compared to what I would do on a higher power airy dtl tank.

Forget about mtl or dtl. Just get the kit with the tighter airflow and vape it at lower power, in whatever way comes natural to you.
You might find it is still dtl.

I was going to say the same as @oldhippydude . You can do lungies with an mtl device, it just has tighter airflow. More like a fag. It will be more like your experience when you smoked.
