What's new

New Innokin Zlide Kit

Not sure if it was designed specifically for the Zlide
looks like it can take a 24mm tank easily & Zlide is 22mm
So mod looks like it's 25~26mm thick, not quite as wide/deep as other mods
(not sure on dimensions - just kinda guessing)

It is going to be like £50 - or £20 tank £30 mod
as a mod as such it is a large 3000mah
BUT - auto detects the coil with possible tweaks of 1w increments maybe
BUT BUT, you are stuck with say a £30 mod that you can't do much else with
OK foolproof maybe but some of the dust/water proof stuff is maybe a bit OTT (perhaps)
if you got the whole thing soaking wet or full of sand - well the tank/coil would be semi fucked
(might be OK after a clean/dry out - but all the same, the tank would need TLC)

At least with the 2000mah Kroma you had TC option up to 75w
dunno what the full spec of this adept mod is though

Adept mod is waterproof, no vents, sealed switches/buttons and silicone cover for usb port at the bottom/underneath
no real tweaking on VV or VW beyond the odd small adjustment - think that would put me off tbh
But for new users it helps simplify the settings - though is not going to be a cheap kit

I'm sure somebody on Youtube will review this vaping whilst scuba diving or something
But think I'll stick with what I'm using for now

It was designed specifically for the Z-range of coils for the zenith/zlide ....the zenith comes in a 24mm version, so I presume they made sure it had room for that.

the power settings are.

>1.0ohm: 11.0W-12.0W-13.0W-14.0W
<1.0ohm: 14.0W-15.0W-16.0W-17.0W.

which is basically the full recommended range for those coils. This is posted in the MTL section, none of us vape at 75w, so I'm not sure I would be of much benefit if it did go up to 75w. I never vape above 14w. Like you say it's designed for smokers and new vapers, the whole 'platform series' is... that's the point.

Yup, stick to what you are using, if it works for you then there's no reason to buy this at all. I'm certainly not trying to sell it to you. I just thought it looked pretty good and I like seeing MTL specific products. :)

Yes mate, I know the Zlide is... I was wondering about the mod itself. ;)
Got ya..it could well be as it seems very different from prior stuff..innokin seem always about function over form but the adept is very different in the looks department.

No it is marketed for the Zlide which 22mm

The Zenith is marketed with Kroma for d24 & cool fire mini for d22

Still early days but it seems to be marketed as a kit with 22mm Zlide
than as a separate mod or to be combined with the Zenith's

The POINT I was making is it is a bespoke mod for those coils in that range
the Wattage figure is not that important but your options are limited was the point I was making
(if you ever decided to use another tank/coil beyond that range)

It is a large capacity £30 mod but being bespoke limits the usage if owner deviates from the Z coils/tanks
say for example the owner wishes to try another type of tank or rta
or if the tank busts but borrows another tank with coil settings beyond the mod's tolerance
But this is always the issue with batteries/mods with fixed or limited range

The kit is not going be cheap - like most Innokin products
But being that we can get a Zlide for say £15 or less, this kit means the limited mod is £30+

The mod is simplified for new users as I clearly pointed out
I also pointed out that yes the mod is water/dust proofed, but the tank won't be of course

It will probably sell to new users that are appealed to its robust waterproof design with two or three days battery life
but they might find this kit is going to remain as a kit as the mod's limited range could restrict them if they deviate from Z coils

I like the look of it,, potential replacement for my ageing Tarot Nano mod. Be interested to read more about it.

Fuck me some people just wanna challenge everything for no reason other than there own self worth [emoji1] well I love the look of it and just on the back of that and the quality control of innokin means 2 will be ordered and I know other mods will be better fuck I own enough of them to know that but this will be well built looks stunning and has some fantastic colour options so don't listen to the haters [emoji1]
