New Kayfun clone resistance changing constantly to ridiculous numbers?

My Kayfun Lite Plus just arrived, so I put in a usual 6 wrap micro coil with 32awg kanthal (usually gives me 2-2.2 ohms) just to find that my iTaste vv3 was showing the 'NON' error message. I loosened the pin at the base so it would connect to the iTaste connector, but now the positive coil part is loose and can be moved around. At first the resistance shows as 0, then it goes to something like 1.8, then it'll go to 7.5, constantly changing.
I have a feeling this is to do with the positive connection as the resistance changes every time the positive pole is moved. However, if I tighten the 510 connection and fix down the positive pole, it won't connect to the iTaste.
Any ideas on how to fix this or making it compatible with the iTaste? I'm not going to stay with the iTaste forever, but it's just a temporary switchover until I get a mechanical mod. I was super excited to try out the Kafun too. :(

Is the screw inside the 510 connector on the Kayfun tight? If its loose it might be making a bad connection.
That VV with a Kayfun on it has to look like the space needle

The issue is that when the connector on the Kayfun is tight, there is no contact at all with the iTaste. When I loosen the connection there's a connection, but it's going skitz when reading the resistance. This also raises the positive post.

It looks pretty horrific.
:grin2:

Dont know about the iTaste but is there any way you can raise the 510 positive pin on the iTaste ?
Grab a small screwdriver and carefully pry the positive pin up.

BTW your coil needs to sit directly above the airhole with a small gap in between ;)

You could try putting an O ring under the head of the positive screw to raise the head slightly while still holding the contact block firm.

I pried up the iTaste connector and it worked, thank you so much!
Also, yeah, I know, but thanks though! That was my 'I've lost the will to live' coil after making so many to see if they would work.
