New MOD Advice

I suspect with a 1.8ohm coil you are drawing it into your mouth before inhaling? MTL? Not DTL inhaling directly into lung?

Well I breathe it right into my lung, as in I just take it all in one deep breath hahaI don’t go from mouth to lung so I’m certainly doing the motion of direct to lung.

Does the lower the ohm of the coil dictate how much vapour etc produced? That seems obvious now but I never realised that before!

aegis legend, smok 150g, etc etc, the legend is the latest - the one in avatar , you need to decide if you want inbuilt batteries or not .
I quite like the look of that.. I take it any thoughts of being able to stick to a 5ml tank are out the window with the new UK laws?

Are you after a new mod or a new tank? Sounds like you're talking about a new tank.

I wouldn't be too scared of sub ohm. I moved from a nautilus mini to a subtank using a 0.5ohm coil, the step up in flavour was enormous and the increase in juice wasn't as horrific as I imagined.

It did take its toll on my mods battery life though, so I ended up upgrading my mod.

But there is a huge difference between a 0.5ohm coil and a 0.15ohm coil.

Hi,

I guess I am just after a new set up, battery and tank... I guess I could be looking at getting a new set up and going for something with the 0.5ohm coils? Just a case of deciding what! Haha

A lot of us order from reputable Chinese websites like fasttech. You have to be patient for delivery but it gets around the tpd nonsense.

Also some tanks have devised workarounds. The official tank is 2ml but they include bubble glass that increases its capacity. Or some have a silicone reducer inserted that you simply remove.

it comes with , i would have to check 5/6ml plus 2ml - look at youtube. but if you are asking on here 10 different people will give you 12 different answers

I have seen the Aspire Speeder with the Athos tank.. unfortunately only a 2ml tank but would anyone recommend that?

You can get 0.7 ohm coils for the Nautilus. Have you tried them yet? They are recommended to run between 18 to 23 watts. These would give you a bit more oomph to your vaping.

Perfect! I might pick them up and try on my current set up then if I decide to move to a new mod I can just get similar level of coils and I’ll know what I’m going into

The short answer is basically yes, the lower the resistance the more power you put through the coil (meaning more battery requirement) and usually the bigger vapour production which means more flavour.

Mod wise you need to decide if you want an inbuilt battery or removable batteries. Inbuilt batteries mean when it's out of power you have to wait for it to charge. Removable batteries mean you have to learn a little more about how to be safe and which batteries to choose and probably an external charger (all things we can help with).

If you choose built in batteries, look at the mAh rating, this is basically the "volume" of charge it holds, the higher the number the longer it will go between charges.

If you choose removable batteries you want to consider if you want a small single battery mod that is pocket friendly but will need more frequent battery changes, or a dual battery mod. Dual battery mods can output higher power but I doubt that's going to be an issue with what you're after.

I won't advise re the tank because I have no up to date knowledge on tanks that take stock coils.
