Yep just drop him a pm & let him know what resistance you want. He's a good guy to deal with.
I find with the Recurve keeping the coil below the top improves it no end. Also may be a stupid question but you are lining the top cap airholes with the inner ones as another ape was having the same issues as you but he wasn't lined up properly, resulting in the air hitting the ends of the coils & not the sides.
