New slave to the vape + question

Hmm, I haven't had any experience with anything off of ebay, however.
See if that new coil's made a difference, if it has we know it was a short on the coil. If it hasn't, it may be internal! Have you got any other tanks you can try it with?

retried a new coil inside the vivi nova clearomizer and it heated the battery up straigh away........... tho all my other clearomizers are working just as they should

Vivi Nova's fit perfectly on the K100. I don't own the Ce4/5 clearos but I have iClear16 and Kanger T3s. The iClear 16 fits fine but the T3 needs an adapter. My iClear16 fits but its a little odd compared to own a EGO Battery.

Also you want to be conscious of what size ohm <acronym title="end-fittings such as atomizers, cartomizers and tanks">heads</acronym> you're using in conjunction with any of your clearos. I would aim for 1.8 and 2.0 for the K100.

my clearomisers coil is 2.4 ohms.. think that is definelty my problem

The 2.4 ohm should be even safer! Lower amps etc etc etc. (Boring electronicy stuff)
May be worth trying to clean out the nova, i'm sure someone with a bit more experience will come along soon enough!

ok little update typed in viva nova fake and my clearomizer is fake.. one of the wicks has no coil raped round it.. so in return if im right there is no resistance on that coil iv tried it in my k100 again gonna let the juice settle then give it a chance.. will kee u updated

Raguri will correct me if I'm wrong but using a protected battery is a must with this type of mod as well as it should cut off if a dead short occurs

Yep, you should realistically be using protected batteries, will have a quick look online to see if yours are. Then again, that didn't stop mine nearly exploding! :O.
I think the protection's more to do with when the battery drains... Not that good on the chemistry though.

well i tried it and the vivi nova is bad news for me be it the 2.4 ohms or be it just bein a complete fake but its going in the bin im not chancing it.. tho i enjoy the more smoke for the flavour.. ill just stick to keeping my k100 working..

also if anyone knows of any good clearomizers which give a lot of vapor please let me know. im enjoying th emore vapour as i feel im tasting what im buying alot more cheers again andi

Best clearo i've used (Well, an affordable one!) is the Kanger Protank! Bit of an airy draw, but you can sort that out with a piece of card if you really want to
