I just stepped up from a 501 to a Tessla Mod. I bought 2 Protank2's with it, but the first one leaked so bad I decided not to even try to use the 2nd one! Any suggestions on what tanks would be good for me? Please help!

I wouldn't ditch the pro tanks just because on leaked. Just as anything, there will always be a faulty one.

Pro tanks are very good, generally.

Have you thought about drippers? I use one on my Tesla and it is so good I've not used anything else.

Thanks for the quick reply, I am not taht familiar with what's out there, can you explain drippers?

also, is there perhaps something i may not be doing right that would cause it to leak?

Basically and small gadget that houses the atomiser, you drip your juice directly onto the coil and wick and vape away, it means you have to top up frequently but the taste is so much nicer, fuller, than vaping through a tank full of juice, IMO.
No leaks. You have control of the ohm, volts, wattage through your Tesla. Drippers (RDA's) are very reasonably priced, (I paid less than a tenner) and very little can ever go wrong because you rebuild them yourself, which is easy enough to do.

If you like tanks to hold juice then pro tanks are very good, usually. I also like the evods and have recently had a go with a davide tank. Pretty good. But, no comparison to my RDA.

Have you checked the seals and o-rings in your PT?

You might want to check that the coil head is tightly screwed into the protank base.

yeah +1 on checking the coil head is screwed down tight, I made that mistake and it leaked a little bit for a retightend it

Beat me to it.
A lot of stuff is shipped without the coil head being screwed down completely. Always good to check everything out before use.

im left wondering why so many of the fairer sex like these tesla's so much?.....maybe to have something in the hand that feels familiar? ;) hehe

anyway....as all have said protanks are the better starter option out there at the mo before you may want to start going into rebuildables etc...dont dismiss cartos too easily though....so simple to use and imo are great :)

Thanks to all! Yes, I really appreciate all the help!

Yes, I have tried rechecking that the coil is screwed on tight. In fact I have taken it apart & back together 3 times, re-checking each part is tight before refilling it, The only thing that still seems to not want to tighten in the glass bowl It wants to come loose as soon as I get it back together. Can't seem to get it ALL to stay tight.\
But from everyone's comments, I may chock this one up to a faulty tank and try the other one I bought. I noticed a LOT of comments on the web about this particular tank leaking, seems like quite a few people have that problem? I'm not really into it enough to want to build my own (unless it comes down to the only way I can get a good vape). I would rather have something that I can put together & not have to fuss with.
I'm off to give the second tank a try. Thank you All!
