big owld coils like that(even assuming you could fit them in) will need plenty of welly and could be a bit spitty in the nano

ideally something around 0.28 -0.3 iirc and its been a while since i used one it worked better in the nano as youre not ragging the watts through it. I think i used a 3mm flat wire(nichrome) in mine cant remember the gauge maybe 24. Try to space the wraps(put a gap between them) as this will reduce spitback
Problem with the nano is that as its so short it places the coil very near your mouth and it does tend towards spitback and that shit is hot
As I said at 0.17 you are going to need to give it a lot of power and its going to get hot eg id run a 0.3 at around 45w and a 0.17 around 75w

I'm still a comparative newbie at building RBA decks having only got my first Blotto RTA's back in March and I was also totally confused about what coils to use. For me, I did quite a bit of reading about the different types of coils and I decided going for pre-wrapped was the easiest way to go. Let someone else do the work winding complex coils. After reading some information about the qualities of the different types I decided Framed Staples looked as if they would give me the best vape.

I'm really happy with the result so now I stick to using the little Coilology tubs of 10 pre-wrapped Framed Staple coils and I buy the 0.2Ω (0.1Ω for dual coil) because they seem to ramp up quicker and give me a nicer vape. I bought mine from Vaping101.

One thing you might need to bear in mind is the type of mod you are firing them on if you are going to do dual coil builds. The mod I was using would not fire if the resistance was below 0.1Ω so you may need to look up what the minimum resistance is for your mod.

In a dual coil build the resistance value will be halved so if you buy 0.2Ω coils and want to use two coils they will end up giving you a resistance of 0.1Ω for the pair which could put you right on the limit with some mods. That is further exacerbated when the coils are brand new because until you have bedded them in by dry firing them the resistance reading will appear lower at first but will go back to giving you the expected reading once you've finished bedding them in.

I've got that set. Probably the best multiple set you can get for trying out different kinds of coil.
