New to squonking

Hi all, after 6 years of vaping I've decided to give squonking a go.
Been using mechs for the last 4 years and although I love them I'm getting fed up of constantly re dripping and having to carry a bottle of juice with me all the time so squonking seems to be the perfect solution for me!
Just ordered a octopus squonker as they seem to be pretty good and just have a few questions really!

What builds do you recommend for squonking? I normally run 0.1 - 0.13ohm coils and occasionally 0.2 - 0.3 depending on type of juice. Also wicking? Is there a different way of wicking a squonk build?

And now rdas
A lot of friends say the hadaly is the nuts for squonking, are they right in saying so? If not could someone list me some decent BF rdas?

And any other tips and tricks that'll make this new journey into vaping any better?

I can't help with your questions @nerzz - except to say the Hadaly is definitely good - there are new squonkable atties coming out all the time so there's now a good range to choose from. Other Apes will be able to help you out I'm sure.

Again, there will be folk along soon enough who can fill you in a lot better than I can, enlightened souls such as @hodge40.
All I can tell you for the moment is that my absolute favourite sub-ohm bf atty is the Hastur (probably old hat by recent standards though!) and for day to day, general vaping, it's the Narda (clone I'm afraid, don't judge me!).

Coil wise you are already aware of ohms law and what works well as your an experienced mech user. The coils you currently enjoy extrapolate perfectly. Wicking has two lines of thought and I find these work for me. If at home then just touching the deck is an efficient way of wicking but if I'm out and about I would use more like a mech to prevent leaking.
Some of your current rda' s may be fine they an be converted with a squonk pin. Some need more work but there's a wealth of rda' s to suit all styles these day's. Keep your eye on this section. We all give our views on our favourites and have a chat with smutt about coils. He can get the most out of any rda with his infamous alien builds.

+1 for the Hadaly, the SXK cone is great and comes with the BF pin.

I'm currently running a clone Goon v3 (from Knucklehead) on my LV Drone, it works really nicely with the Kennedy airflow - and comes with a BF pin.

The Skywalker is also worth a look, really nice build deck, vapes great, BF pin again and dirt cheap.

It's good to swap around for a change but Hadalys I always come back to as plain dripper or squonker.
Enjoying squonking ona Skywalker at the moment but will I tire of it ? Only time will tell.
