So I was referred here by my cousin. He's been peer pressuring me for quite some time now. Damn the peer pressure. Damn it all to hell.
Anyway, I'm Connie, also known as "The American Huggett" as my cousin says. I'm from Seattle, Washington in the United States. Olympia, the state capitol to be exact. It's much easier saying Seattle because usually when I say I'm from Washington, people are like "Oh have you met Obama?" No... That's DC. I'm from Washington STATE. "What?!?" Errg. Yup, I'm on the west coast where winter is basically like summer right now. It's been pretty nice, speaking we have rain 290 days a year. Anyway, I've been vaping since Christmas Eve of 2012. Was a former smoker for about 7 years, I didn't even have to ween off of the tobacco, just went straight to vaping. My very first ecig was from a branded company called Volcano and I ended up buying a model called the "Inferno". It started off with a tank and cartomizer, then they eventually came out with the atomizer tank. And yes, I still have it and I still use it. I plan on always having it even if I stop using it, because face it, it got me off of the tobacco, it basically saved me.
Must I mention my views on vaping? Well, in Seattle, vaping is actually banned in city limits. Meaning you cant vape outside of buildings, in public building, and the sales of electronic cigarettes is prohibited essentially. That bullshit law is making it into other counties in my state alone, but fortunately, not in the town I live in. I'm hoping to keep it like that.
I believe that vaping is a much healthier alternative than smoking. In fact, my doctor bothered me for years about quitting, and when I heard about vaping, I actually made an appointment to discuss it with her, she put down her chart in her lap and said "I approve." Months after I started vaping, I made another appointment, and gratefully, my health was improving. My immune system was strengthening, my senses were coming back, my asthmatic symptoms virtually disappeared, and I just felt much better overall. My doctor actually used my improved health to give an option to her other patience that were smokers, so at that point I had a medical professional that was pro-vape. And it was nice!
I think I've basically covered everything I wanted to talk about during my entrance to the page. I'm open to any questions, no matter how in depth they are, just note I'm not going to sugar coat anything and I'll tell you exactly how it is, so be prepared for honesty if it ever comes about, if you're not cool with honesty, well, then I'm sorry. Hopefully we can still be friends anyway.
