Hello my name is Danny, 40 years old from Blackpool.

Little background into the reason i am looking to get into the world of vaping.

I have worked since i was 15 mostly manual work and never had more than a few days off when in November bang, i collapsed got took to hospital and as well as having a muscle problem with my leg i had a very bad case of pneumonia.

Now i know i should just quit smoking i know from past tries i can't. A few years ago i tried ecigs the lookalike type but, had no real joy. So after looking into things while i am recovering it is obvious that vaping may be the answer and the lesser by far of two evils.

Here is the problem though, being on the sick for the last few months, sick pay has reduced spare income into barely nothing, and as i know it is for my own health (i get my tobacco very cheap and it is just about sustainable on a weekly basis) any kit i get needs to be really cheap for now.

In another month or so when i return to work i will then hopefully have the disposable income to improve whatever i start with.

So i am asking the experienced among you if you can spare a little time to steer me in the right direction and maybe explain what i should be looking for.

Many many thanks for taking the time to read all this and look forward to any help.

Have a look in the sales section (when you reach 5 posts) for discounted items, initial start up is going to cost you £40-50 for just a basic kit and a bottle (or two) of juice. Check out the discount code page for discounts to some of the best vendors we've got :D

BTW welcome to the Planet :D

Welcome to the forum.
You could start with Ego CE4 and a couple of liquids for about £15

Hi BfcDanny

Welcome to POTV

I hope your health is improving.

Like you I have tried to quit smoking on more occasion than what I can count on 2 hands, and failed with every attempt, that is untill I discovered vaping.
Finding the right kit for you is all a matter of trial and error, though adding, being on limited funds makes it harder.

I started vaping on an eGo passthrough and a CE4, and that helped me stay away from the tobacco.
This kit still plays a big part, as I still use them every day.

I think that most people started with an eG0 kit, or similar (be it not after having tried look-a-likes).

So on a personal note, if you want something affordable and are still able to buy your liquid on a weekly/ 2 weekly base, untill you are better off, you cant go wrong with an eGo kit

Welcome and yup for a VFM start up + 1 on an Ego kit - it's worth a good shop around on these.
