New user looking for wise advice from you sages

Hiya and welcome. I can't really add anymore to all the above advice but good luck. It's amazing the hold ciggies have over us. My mum is severely asthmatic and nearly died on several occasions and still carried on smoking and it was only when she got diagnosed with severe copd that she finally managed to quit. I just wish I'd know about vaping years ago cos it could have made a huge difference to her.

Hi and welcome mate, hope your on the up and stick with it mate, I started on the slim ecigs....it worked for me ....but knowing what I know now, as a beginer I should have started on the Ego kits, great value, great place to start and great batteries and a fair size tank to get you into the world of flavour and vape...good luck with your health mate...

Thank you for some really nice replies, i wasn't expecting such a warm welcome.

As it happens i have just got back from the docs and he has signed me off for another month, so plenty of time to investigate this world of vaping.

May i send a public thanks to one individual though, he doesn't know me from adam yet has been fantastic. That is Merino Teflon, if the forum is full of individuals as him, i have stumbled into the right place.

Ok as a newbie i have realised from spending a good few hours browsing this forum that vaping is much bigger than just getting nicotine into the body, it seems more of a hobby, no that sounds to twee, a lifestyle suits better.

As a car enthusiast gets excited when a new model or part comes out, so does everyone on here. Personally i think thats great, bloody expensive like but, great as it gives focus and becomes more than just a physical nicotine addiction.

Now having zero knowledge on things apart from the cig lookalikes, i will for starters just be browsing and asking more questions, although when i get my first setup i will give a report of my experience of what it is like for a complete newbie, might even take some of nostalgically back.

Anyway once again thanks for the welcome and i look forward to chatting with all.
