Hi I am new to vaping, I am a heavy smoker so thought I would give it a go. I currently have a caliburn a2 and I am looking for something similar, with a similar MTL draw and simple usage but with a bit better battery life. The a2 lasts nearly the whole day but not quite, but I am pretty sure it is glued to my mouth at the minute.
Thanks in advance

Hellow @Tanya1985 and welcome to POTV. I'd recommend the Caliburn G2. Very similar device, but it has a 750mah battery instead of the 520mah that the A2 has, so 50% more battery. It is slightly different in that the pods take coils, but I think with the 0.8ohm coils you'll be very happy with the G2.

The G2 also has fast charging (not sure about the A2) and only take 25 minutes to fully charge.

Good luck in quitting!

...and buy two! One to use whilst the other is charging ;)

Welcome to the forum!

Hi @Tanya1985 and welcome to the planet.
congratz on taking the first steps onto a healthier lifestyle.

its quite normal to have the vape stuck to your gob almost every waking moment. im the same and not had a cig in 7 years but i am on very low nicotine.

the G2 is talked about a lot on here and is highly rated by those that have it.
and as said its always a good idea to have a backup and even a backup for the backed up back up :D
shinyitis is a thing where you buy every new kit that comes along and many of us have caught this dreaded bug. its like a kid in a candy shop.

what nicotine strength are you on at the moment and are you using freebase nicotine or nic salts.

Yes think I would like a few new ones actually lol. I am using 20mg nic salts at the minute as I read that was best for heavy smokers.

Ah I had looked at this but wondered about the coils, obviously just whacking off a pod and replacing it with a new one seems easy, is changing the coil easy(ish) and is it just the coil that needs replacing or other parts too?

Pop the pod off (same as A2), then pop the coil out (it's rather easy) prime the new coil (just put a small amount of juice on the exposed white cotton) and pop it back in the pod. Fill the pod up with juice and leave for 10 minutes (same as the A2). The pods themselves should last a while, but you can get replacements.
