Hi guys!

I wondering if you fellow vaperz can help me out a little, I am not the best with search functions so forgive me if this is (and probably is) a well asked question.

I have started vaping 5 days today (not a single cig too). I did a bit of research and ended up with the Riva Deluxe, I bought some juice gold / silver which I am assumed was a tobacco flavoured juice (B+H Silver / Gold etc). I am actually very happy with the choice and the kit too.

My question is though, I am looking to order the Grizwalds pick n mix off vapeescape and have chosen all the ones that sound like tobacco (old holby, Golden Burginia etc),, to discover which i like best, with black jack thrown in as something different. Dut do i need to buy 5 clearomisers one for each flavour? How do I maintain (do you have a selection of consumables always in stock? if so what is good to stock keep apart from juice?)

Also out of interest how much do fellow vapers you generally spend a month on consumables?

Sorry for the long and possibly done to death post.

Many thanks

Micky

You could and l usually do but they clean pretty easily although the first fill with a new liquid will have a slight taste of the last one in there

It's not too bad if the flavours aren't too different, but I would definitely have one just for the blackjack. Aniseed is a hard flavour to get rid of!

Monthly spending can vary greatly depending on what you use. I use rebuildables so it's probably less that a fiver a month (not including juice which I make myself). When I used cartos it was probably nearer a fiver a week. Welcome btw, well done on making the switch :)

Hello MickyBlu82 welcome to the planet, you can spend as little as £5 a month and you can spend until you can spend no more!! The problem when starting off I found was I would buy liquids and equipment and not like or get on with, until I stumbled across this forum and found the reviews and comments from all very informative and steered me in a better direction, saying that I was determined to spend nothing till the end of the month and already have just spent over £120 on quite frankly things I didn't really need!!

I'm trying to curb the spending, and doing quite well ............................... so far lol

Thanks guys for your information, I did look at the rebuildables however with the information overload and things like resistance and duel coil etc.

Also can someone please tell me about bottom coils, they look like they
do not have a wick? also are they any good?

And sorry finally, what would you guys advise on clearomisers as a good fit for the Riva Deluxe kit, and is there any good websites that gen have the best prices...i.e. the aldis of the vape world?

Hello and welcome to the Planet!

You don't need to have to have clearomiser for each juice, you can clean and reuse it with different juices, however you should have a spare or two in case it dies. You can find youtube videos that shows you how to clean clearomizer depending on yours.

Innokin Tidy10 V3 is a great little clearomiser which takes about 1ml of eliquid, it perfect for testing the juice out.

So, apart from juice you will be only spending on new clearomisers or new heads for it and those won't expensive.

Once you are comfortable, you can order some DIY mixing liquids and start making yours, that will cut down spending further more.

Don't hesitate to ask if you have any more questions, also congrats on being fag free :)

Yes, if can be quite confusing for a new vaper all those information, stick around and you will soon get the hang of it. :)

Bottom coils has wick but it's very short, it sit's beneath the center post which where the coil is, gravity does most of the work so don't need long wick for it. Kanger T3 is an excellent clearomiser and it's bottom coiled and it would fit Riva nicely, replacement heads available for it, if for any reason the head dies you can replace it. It costs about 5 quid for the T3 and heads I believe like £2.50.

As for the vendors you really need to shop around and compare, some vendors will have a sale and announce it on here and also some of the vendors have discount codes that you can use at the checkout for the members of this website. http://www.planetofthevapes.co.uk/discount-codes (there is a link at the top as well)

Thanks Duality again for the info, I did not see this until this morning and have made a purchase last night. Ended up going with the Vision Ego V3 rebuilds with replacement heads. I also bought some Vision Nano clearomiser to do my testing with the pick and mix i ordered!........ Can i just double check.....they do say vaping saves you money dont they?:sinister:
