Ni80 MTL coil burns so fast

It must be your liquid then, cotton seems well saturated.
I too have and type of liquid I bought where I have to change cotton every 2 tanks, liquids that's been made by myself don't do that

Was it ever revealed what wattage is going through it?
12 to 14w.

I'd say 100% it's the juice. It may not have happened in another device but airflow could also play a role in not cooling the coil as much. But that's some seriously sweet juice. I could vape for a year and my coil wouldn't look like that. In fact, I'd struggle to make it look like that on purpose.

Easy to rule out by trying another juice.

looking again at the build , somehow to me it seems a lot of cotton. try a bit less than normal, if ot does not wick fast enough will burn a lot faster , in my opinion 60/40 is the max for mtl , not enough power to properly vaporise VG. When I was using the old aspire k3 with the 0.7 coils the minimum power for 70/30 was 20w and even at 20w it was still going through coils quite fast .

Doesn't look unusual for sweet dark juice.
some juices need dry burning and brushing daily before rewicking. As said, go easy on wick to prolong life.
perhaps a kanthal nichrome blend will last longer. I find nichrome gets too hot too quickly with tobacco juices and gunks up twice as fast. A slower ramp up may help.

When you vape try to stop firing before you finish inhaling.
This way the last of the inhaled air will cool the coil and stop the juice sizzling with no where to go.
I’ve had much worse looking coils after two tank fulls and this helped to reduce that.

As others have said, it’s the sweet juice caramelising on the coil.
Try another not so sweet juice and see if it persists.

That's the only thing I didn't like about the Brunhilde MTL, the rounded airhole reducers cover just a very small spot of the coil, especially that I am using the smallest one.
I think if they've gone with the flat head like the one on the Berserker 1.5 mini, it would be much better imo.

another thing to add is the mod used and settings. there is a trend with mods to spike the output on the fire action in order to achieve the instant fire. they send more power than normal for a small time to help with ramp up , good for big coils and thick juices but bad for mtl.
