Nicotine freezer storage confusion

First venture into the world of DIY juicing and I'm a little unsure on how to store my nicotine. I've bought a 500ml 7.2% VG based bottle.
Reading various threads on freezer storage, I should store it in amber glass 100ml bottles - sounds sensible. However, I see that;
* VG based nic can freeze solid (and PG base too?)
* Store with no headroom in bottle as oxygen can oxidise the nic
* Don't store in plastic bottles as nic can leach chemicals from plastics.

If it freezes surely it expands? If I top up a glass bottle completely and it freezes the bottle is going to break?
If I leave headroom, some have suggested as much as 20%, then is oxidisation going to be an issue? I can see 500ml lasting me a fair while and it's not likely to be gone in a couple of months.

Freezer works down to minus 18/20 deg C

Point me in the right direction please!

VG nic' doesn't expand, nor does it freeze solid. You can fill the bottles right to the brim. I think it's the same for PG nic' but I don't have any so can't confirm.

@jacinabox I store pg based nic in 50ml glass bottles brimmed full and then I've put them in an air tight Tupperware box in the bottom of my freezer. Take one out at a time so not to have to much in the fridge. Never had any problems at all and from what I have read a domestic freezer wont go low enough to freeze nic solid.

And thank you too @mick brown ...have to say I wish I'd bought PG base nic' The VG stuff I've got is pretty much immobile after 4 hours in the freezer, not a big deal as long as it stays usable for a good while!

Keep a small working stock in the fridge or dark cupboard. Freezing is for longer term storage and topping up the working stock as needed.

I'd heard it doesn't expand and I'm pretty sure it didn't but I played it safe anyway.....
I filled my 250ml bottles to about 2cm from top. I had a little spare bit and put that in a separate small bottle then froze the lot.
2 days later I just topped of the 250ml bottles with the spare bit (yes it goes thick but not solid), put it back in the freezer and left it
That way, no risk at all of bursting

This was pg based nic
