Nicotine stains or cigarettes stains ?

'Nicotine stains' is one of the phrases the anti smoking lobby have successfully engrained in the public psyche... probably why they can get away with trying convince us nicotine is evil.
Spot on. Look at any old article on pubs in the days before the smoking ban and you will see the phrase 'nicotine stained walls' all the time. I think it was borne out of ignorance since the dreaded 'nicotine' was always associated with smoking...which caused the stain through tar/smoke. Some phrases stick in the public psyche. There is no excuse for the association with Vaping.

I grow orchids and carnivorous plants for a living and sometimes I've noticed that the aerophyte roots get a clinging film of vape on them. They're specially adapted to retain moisture from mist or high humidity. I'm hoping that the nicotine will act like a neo-nicotinoid insecticide and do the most laborious part of my job for me... Free systemic pest control!

A fairly niche anecdote but thought I'd contribute nonetheless!

Lmao, I think I'd rather smell of toffee than cigarettes. I found my car now smells of vanilla ice cream which is better than rothmans wreak.

I mentioned this last week I remember cleaning my windows mirrors pictures etc and tv and yeah finding the brown streakage but now in 5 months of vaping I dont get that anymore and I drip big clouds all day most days

My dad never smoked in his car yet everytime I loaned it I had a thick greasy film to clean from the windscreen. My own car hasn't gained any noticeable extra greasy film even though I do struggle to see through the clouds
