Not sure which mod to buy

Got a V3 flat-top second hand from a vendor on here and it hasn't skipped a beat.

It's solid, good-looking (for a tube of metal) and does its job fine. Even though my mod collection continues to breed like bunnies I still have the Kayfun fixed onto it for when I fancy nine and a half of those sexy watts of power through the 1.4ohm coil.

What I'm saying is that even if you want to move on to something else you'll probably still use it too. It's well worth the money.

I've got a Vamo and it only gets used as an expensive multimeter.

If you want to save money go to fasttech,They do some good cevices at good prices!Got my innokin itaste svd and an iclear 30 there, great piece of kit!I use a boge cartomiser in an agr lockable tank on my itaste cvd mostly and am very happy.

Hi Im a noob to vaping and had this quandry? (noob to POTV too) I too came from an Ego Vision 1100mah batt and had a Kanger Protank2 mini, I opted for the VAMO (V5) latest design and wow its amazing in comparison, I only recieved it today and i purchased it from a website (dont know if i can put a link up(noob)) For the sum of £50.00 full kit & Free 1st Class Postage from UK, micky charger, 2x18350's, 2xdisposible clearo's so everything to start vaping, I must say the build quality is fantastic (stainless Steel version) V5 has the curved removable top ring, EGO and 510 fitment, LED screen, and RMS power, oh and i believe they have improved the buttons apparently,(less rattle) see PBustardo reviews on the tube, was great help for me :2thumbsup:

The V3 sig zmax is a good bit of kit ... I've had no issues with the v2 and v3 ..though some have.

My only annoyance with it is the gap .. always with sigelei a flickin gap

I likes My ZMax. If you get a good one they are excellent.

There isn't going to be a 'better one' coming out any time soon. There isn't a great deal else a tube mod can do and while the prices might come down a bit over the next few months there isn't going to be lots of functionality added to them.

Something might turn up that you think looks nicer for similar money, but that's a different kettle of bananas :)

The next 'big thing' on the horizon is a DNA-20 based mod. These have the advantage that they can run lower resistance coils, but right now the chips are pricey so the mods are also pricey, in about a yearish I'd guess that you'll be able to pickup a decent DNA tube mod for similar money to what a ZMax/SID/Vamo/SVD costs now.

One drawback presently to DNA-20 devices is the lack of reverse polarity protection, if you get something like the OpusD thats not a problem as you get a fixed internal battery you can't change anyway, (think MVP but a little better) it is an issue for a mod where you swap batteries yourself though.

To really jump up you need to start spending a LOT of cash, Provari kind of money+, and if it's the kind of money you need to save up for you're much better off spending it on a really good atomiser, like a Kayfun(lite) than you are a battery holder. Higher end mods are very nice, but you'll get a much better vape out of a vamo or a ZMax with a Kayfun on it than you will a Provari with a ViviNova on it.

Here's several mods
