Hi all, hoping some of you kind folk will give me some help!
I actually did 2 months off the analogs earlier this year using a 510 battery/ce4 clearomizer system, it was great but I got a bit frustrated with the lifespan and quality of the clearomizers so went back to analogs.
I really want to succeed with vaping now but is there a better option than the disposable clearomizers for my e-liquid, I've read about tanks and dripping but don't really understand what they are!?
Any advice really appreciated!!
Mick

Hiya!

Just wondering, which setup are you using at the moment battery wise?
Realistically, it's all down to the individual. for example, I like pure power, and use a mechanical mod as this means I can get above 15 watts, some like a nice gentle vape, and use an EGO battery which has a fixed voltage of 3.7v.
tank wise, for ease of use, i'd say a kanger protank/protank mini. May be a bit airy, but you get used to that. Easy to use, and to maintain! :)

I have a kanger protank mini and love it! It is airier than the ego that I have but I quite like it airy because it seems to give a smoother draw and vape. Give it another go. Vaping is awesome :)
There is a good deal on the protank mini starter kit at the moment. http://myepack.co.uk/kits/mini-protank-kit.html
I'm not at the stage of tanks and dripping yet but am enjoying getting to know my vape sticks and e-liquids right now. It's all good stuff :D

Hi, I'm not using anything at the mo, hence my question so I buy the right kit!
it's the difference between clearomizer systems and tanks I think which is confusing me?!

If I were to start again I'd opt for an Evod, a Protank or a mini Protank with a couple of 1100mAh Ego batteries. I use an X9 on a regular basis still, similar to a Protank, but I did have to fiddle about to cure the gurgling and dry hits first.

Drippers are very simple but you will have to learn how to coil a wick. It's quite easy but can be off-putting as you are starting out. I've only recently got into using them but feel they are just that added bit of complication at the beginning while you are taking on board loads of information.

Of course, opinions will differ :)

Well, to swap flavours, you either drain the tank and clean it out with water, or you just have more than one tank ;)
You still need to change the coil every once and a while, but they're p*ss easy to recoil once you learn how (Plenty of tutorials on here actually!) :)

Hello Mick and welcome to POTV, the monkey sanctuary only rivalled on size by the real one in Dorset.

First off, you need to understand that by asking for opinions on a vaping forum especially, you will get anything up to 10 varying answers. Which one or combination to choose. Sadly, I haven't worked out the answer to that one yet.

As you feel you were, in a sense, let down on your previous vaping experience what I propose is a reasonably cheap set-up that will certainly cure the issues you mentioned and hopefully encourage you to easily kick the stinkies well into touch. Once you're up and running, you can decide what you want to do later.

1. A minimum 1,000mAh Ego-C Twist or Spinner to allow you some freedom to make adjustments to suit your taste as e-liquids can vary greatly in the power required.
2. A passthrough charger to suit the above.
3. A 3-pin USB mains adaptor
4. A Protank 2 kit that comes with spare heads and a vanity ring.
5. A 5-pack of spare atomiser heads for the Protank.

The atomiser heads can be washed and re-used and will last you quite a while.
This should get you off to a good start and give you time to decide whether to venture into rebuildables, mech mods, APVs etc.

Oh forgot No. 6. An extension of your overdraft. Enjoy your vape.

Or you can buy the heads ready made, while you are starting and not brimming with confidence, and just screw a new one in. :)
