What's new

Novice needs assistance please!

Here's a video of what's what with a Protank Blue. It is the Protank One as it were but it shows very clearly what's involved. The v2 is even easier.

Thanks for this! looking like I'll opt for the protank then, hope this time it's for good!

You have no worries if you purchase your Kanger Protank from a reputable UK vendor, if you choose to source it from China then I strongly recommend that you obtain one which comes with the long stem heads.

Though I'm no expert on the complicated stuff (on tanks/egos since April), I agree with the Kanger Protank or Evod as a next step up from CE4s. I also found that, though the first CE4 I got in the kit was great, subsequent ones I bought didn't produce as much vapour and my cig use crept back up.

I got an Evod initially, and really liked it, so went for a couple more, a protank and a DCT (the latter is much warmer with lots of vapour, which takes some getting used to after the cooler Evods & protanks, but it's growing on me).

The Evods and Protanks are easy to set up and maintain, produce good vapour & flavour and the protanks are glass, so can carry the tank-cracking juice flavours. I've not got into recoiling yet, I just have a few spare heads (lower ohm are better for the fixed voltage egos - use the ego twist on the higher ohm heads) - but I will get into recoiling sooner or later - I just want a resistance meter before I start.

I'm happy enough with them to have 4 or 5 protank clones on order plus 3 protank mini clones (I started with the branded, but these were cheap enough to be worth trying out).

An Ego twist might be worth getting as well, as you can tweak the power to get the best out of a tank/head/juice.

Though I'm still smoking a little, I'm avoiding about 15 cigs a day, so at that rate, I can afford quite a bit of kit and still be in profit.
