Evening all

after a few failed attempts with e cigs I noticed a chap outside my office taking luxurious long drags on what looked like a miniature light sabre

had a quick chat with him (what the bl##dy hell is that??) and my first introduction to the world of 'real' vaping was started

so, I think I'll go online and read a bit about what this is all about and get myself a kit and get started, so I can kick the other nasty things

aaaaaaanyway

holy moly, it's like everybody is talking in hieroglyphics

ive actually started to take notes, it's so much to take in!!

ascmy notes are beginning to make less sense to me, I thought I'd wave a bit of a white flag and ask for help, either from vendors or users alike

to kick my habit I have to say money really is no object, I'm willing to pay for a gold standard kit from day one. Believe that's called a mod?

i hope that doesn't make me sound like I'm trying to be flash or anything, I just really need to be around when my kids get older

Ive always felt that I'll get the best of the best from day one. Then all I have to do is maintain it

is there anybody out there that can help me with a recommendation for a full top level kit, with instructions around useage and maintenance?

forgive me if this q has been asked a thousand times before. I'm. Just losig track on what I'll receive from certain top kits, what I still need to order, what way up it goes......

i currently smoke 20 plus B&H per day and have done for a very very long time

help please....

Welcome! You're likely to get different answers on this, because people are looking for different things from vaping - some people like throat hit, some like lots of clouds, some are all about the flavour, etc. But you'll certainly get plenty of advice!!!

Welcome Sean1974 great intro, difficult question!! Would suggest you don't jump straight at the high end mod, plenty great choices out there but if it was me I would probably look at a SVD or Vamo and a protank, I have owned or own these and found they were great compared to the ecig likes but you will probably get a 1000 different suggestions, the best advice is don't throw a ton of money without research, check you tube on any item you fancy and throw the question about it on the forum.

welcome to the planet :D

Lots of good people here. When it comes to mods I would presume you are talking about the ones you can change the voltage on ? if that's the case vamo's seem to be hugely popular, I do how ever prefer the smoktech sid. Do you have any specific requirements to the mod you are looking for? That would help us to point you in the right direction.

+1 on Markfletcher007, An SVD is a good choice, teamed with a protank or an iClear30, get 2 or three of the Tanks if you can, that way you can have more than one juice on the go. Dont be too ready to rush in and buy the expensive stuff as in this admittedly slightly unusual case sometimes the cheap stuff can be just as good...

Welcome to the Planet Mate!!! It's a case of trial and error I'm afraid, everyone's different and what I like might not necessarily be what you like!!!:welcome1:

Wow! Amazingly quick replies, thank you so much for taking the time

as suggested I will continue to research as much as I'm able, I'm just not sure whether I'm being stupid or not?

are there component parts that are required to build one full vape....err....thing

atomisers, drip tips, batteries, chargers, variable voltages, double click this, 5 click that....I think at the moment if somebody mentioned a 'semi rotary custard valve' I'd just nod and write that down (now hoping that doesn't exist)

it is totally mind boggling! Or... I'm dumb

i think for me, a good nicotine hit, a fair bit of 'smoke' and a good throat hit. I know I know, I've just described a cigarette

and, and this may sound stupid, I'd quite like it to look good. As per my first post, the fella outside the office looked like he had a small light sabre.... And he seems very proud of it!

Welcome matey. I to, like yourself, want to be there for my kids when they get older which is why I took up vaping. I wouldn't have it any other way now. A few good recommendations have been made already.

As for it being like a different language, you'll soon pick up the lingo and be speaking fluently before you know it.

http://myepack.co.uk/evod-starter-kit.html i found this a great start x it gives you x2 of battery and tank spare coils and they are changeable with alot of other stuff x and if u like a bit of diy/ fiddleing u can save money by learning to recoil x but it all comes with time and evey 1 has diff personal preferances x happy vaping x
