Oneshot Wonder at Chefs Vapour

I got my order today. I made up 10mls of DOH Nuts and 10mls of The Doughnut King. I gave them multiple cycles in the ultrasonic cleaner. I know its very early days but I had to give both a try.

DOH Nuts was floral which is bad for me, very bad, no hint of jammy strawberry like @peegore mentions above. It was just a floral mess. I mixed it at 20% as per the Chefs Vapour website. 20pg/80vg 6mg. If this becomes anything like a doughnut or strawberry I will be very surprised. The concentrate smells like something I cannot describe, it doesn't smell floral though but it did to my daughter, the finish mix smells floral to me though with a hint of something slightly bready.

The Doughnut King is nothing like a doughnut. What it is like is cinnamon danish swirl. Maybe it will turn into something doughnut like in a few more days but I'm not very optimistic. Also mixed it at 20% as per the Chefs Vapour website. 20pg/80vg 6mg. From the concentrate bottle it smells like TPA French vanilla deluxe. The finished mix smells like CDS and nothing else, no vanilla smell anymore either.

Early days as I say though.

Both tested in an OBS Crius with velo deck, twin SS coils 0.26ohms, 28 watts, 380F on a VTC Mini.

So far I am massively disappointed as I had high hopes for both of them. £16.40 lighter for some yuk :(

Shame your not impressed at all @simate, but hopefully a good steep can really transform things so fingers crossed for you!

Maybe stepping in ultrasonic cleaners really doesn't do all that much, I gave them around an hour in total but perhaps it hasn't really done anything. Its funny because the DK from the bottle smells kind of custardyish with a hint of cinnamon danish swirl but it reeks of CDS when vaped and tastes of nothing but that, for now anyway.

I had another smell of the DOH Nuts, in just a few more hours the floral smell has completely gone and it is starting to smell somewhat better which surprised me considering only a few hours ago it smelt like a florists!

I will give them both a week before I give them another go. If I'm not impress then I will have 28mls of each to sell on.

Ultrasonic or other methods I believe are just good for starting the steeping process, only time really lets the Flavours bond togather

To be honest I gave up with the ultrasonic cleaners a while ago. I mix and put in the airing cupboard overnight. Come morning time they are just nicely warm and shakeable. Then stick in a draw and steep.

I know what you mean about the Donut king (maybe cinnamon Danish swirl minus the cinnamon?!?) but to me after a steep it gets better, especially being a custard it needs it.

As for D'ohnuts the jammyness I perceive for first few days may just be a strong artificial flavour to another person. But after a week it calmed right down anyway.

Like I say, hope you find them better in few days!

Just noticed Oneshot Wonder has now pretty much been removed from display on Chefs Vapour website.

Also, looks like they are setting up a new range - VHB One Shot flavours ( are appearing but have yet to be catagorised and don't yet show stock). Current options are -
Claire's coconut cream pie *
Kreeds Mr Kiplping Apple Pie *
Jays Jam Roly Poly
Kreeds Kustard *
The Grape Gatsby

Seems like pricing is £1.20 for 10ml, £3.60 for 30ml, £7.20 for 100ml

* Three of these are currently published recipes on an other forum.

The VHB range isn't there to see. If you search Kreeds Custard comes up but if you click on it a password is asked for.
