Bloody hell. Forget to check in for a day or so and 5 pages of responses appear!
Just starting to put together a review on the blog for four of the flavours. I have Doh Nuts and Milk & Honey steeped for a week now, with Sugar Bear and Teleos Crunch mixed yesterday.
I'll say now what I'm saying in my review... at £4 for 30ml we'd be naive to believe these are going to be spot on clones. In my opinion they just need to be ballpark to the originals and a nice vape in themselves. Any closer would be a bonus.
What I can tell you so far is -
Doh Nuts - Starts off when freshly mixed as a quite strong Jammy Strawberry flavour. After a week, this has calmed right down and is currently a slightly sweet mild strawberry cream with a hint of spicy cinnamon. Unfortunately not getting any donut 'breadiness' at all. Not a bad vape in itself but not strictly Strawberry Donut.
Milk & Honey - Starts off when freshly mixed as a strong TFA Peanut Butter flavour. After a week this has mellowed out to a mild peanut / marshmallow / graham cracker vape.
The other two are too fresh to judge, but suffice to say the initial thoughts for sugar bear are 'Cap Cinnamon Danish Swirl' and Teleos Crunch is 'TFA Berry Crunch'
Am I disappointed? Not really. I had an idea what I was buying into. My gut feeling is that the best of the available clones out there have been condensed and simplified into 3-4 ingredient recipes, mass mixed and bottled for us to purchase at a very low price per ML. And so far whether they mimic their namesakes or not they are actually quite an enjoyable vape anyway. Further steeping may reveal more subtleties than I'm getting now though so who knows!
Oh, and I tried all the codes I could to get a percentage off the order to no avail. Shame ( £3.30 postage is killer )
Be interesting to read other peoples thoughts when they get them mixed and steeped.
