I adore my Mini 16, but I prefer single coil builds and the standard arrangement didn't afford as much airflow as I like. Opening up the opposite side improved airflow, but muted the flavour. Now it's a weeny deck, but I bit the bullet and came up with this. SS316 clapton; 28awg core & 32awg wrap; 2mm ID. Super-careful installation, squishing the coil slightly oval to avoid the possibility of a short circuit. With airflow from both sides it's much airier and the flavour is great, Definitely a win-win!
