hi guys

After much testing, I have found I have a pg sensitivity. I have an aspire NX75 and currently running a innokin I-sub tank plex 3d. I have tried a few combinations, 50:50 mix and 70:30 mix. I know for sure it’s PG issue as I get this terrible lump feeling in my throat and phlegm but once I tested 100% VG it went away. It’s not something I can continue with and it’s pretty horrible.

I can maybe handle 10% PG but get some sore throat and mouth.

Any suggestions on what would be best to use for 100% VG or a 90/10 mix, maybe dilute the VG with distilled water?.

The 100% VG I ordered is not cheap, doesn’t last long and of course not much flavour as predicted. Doesn’t seem to be many options on buying 100% VG in England.

Any help appreciated.

My son is the same, he is PG intolerant. He uses AVG, it's VG with 10% distilled water added to it. He gets his VG flavour concentrates from justvape247. Good luck.

I think you might have to start making your own, the lack of options is just because of a lack of demand.

You could buy VG Nicotine shots, dilute them with VG and AG then add VG based flavourings.

The element dripper series are 80% VG, if you added VG nicotine you'd be a bit closer.

...but if you are having that much of a serious reaction I would try and totally avoid it.

you could just vape VG nicotine shots.

Just to add, the flavour is not as strong as are the PG flavours, mix at 20%. Their one shot VG flavours are stronger. Hope this helps

You can't be looking very hard at all.

Last lot I bought, I paid under a fiver for a litre - in fact, the PG was more...

It's also easier to find VG nic shots than PG ones.

I think he's talking about 100% VG pre-made liquid.

Hi. When I started vaping, being a terrible allergy sufferer, I thought I better go full VG. Err, no flavour at all to me even though I went to a vape shop and had then mix me something. But, I did get some initial throat issues, bit of a swallow thing, lumpy, not an actual physical lump just a feeling that may have been more a getting used to it thing. My misses, no allergies. Tried her vape after a couple of weeks and things seemed to settle. At first I thought "pg issue" but it wasnt, it was just get used to vape issue which turned out to be nothing. So went from 100% vg to 65vg/35pg and have had no problem since. And I am an asthmatic with more allergies otherwise than one can poke a stick at. But PG for me is not one of them at all. Many people who start vaping feel a tightness or something, its just an accosomisation (my spell check don't recognise my effort there) to actual vaping. It passss very soon. I felt it like I said but now it is a non event.
Maybe you do have PG intolerance, but I'll back it being what myself and others had, nothing but just getting used to it. Remember being a new smoker!? Wow, much worse than a bit of "gee, my throat feels a bit tight and lumpy"! It was cough your guts out, hoarse raw throat, tastes like im licking the bottom of a barbeque refuse.
The general rule of thumb that I know of is give it three to four weeks, if you still feel like you are swallowing a golf ball then maybe it's PG.

If that's the case I misread then ;)

But if there's an issue, diy is probably the only way...

I have the opposite problem, I can't deal with much VG (or much flavouring) so the only sensible choice I have to continue to vape is diy.
