There is a definite "trend" that seems to be very hip at the moment.

Vale jam seemed to have a lot of "hip" vapers blowing clouds and if I'm being honest, acting like cunts

Snapback, low slung jeans and tattoos seemed to be the order of the day....and one thing I did find out after chatting to a good few of them was that on most accounts, they never smoked before hand, and a lot (and I mean a good 90% of them) were on zero nic

One particular guy had a sextuplet coil in his velocity, running at 0.06ohms (that was "fucking sick bro" ) that he was running in a series mod that he had made himself "300 watts fosho bro" he reckons

Of it wasn't for meeting up with @South Coast Vaper @dw1986 @TheTartanSpartan @joe clay @OccultScientist @junglist and meeting @todd I wouldn't have gone...pure and simple...

It's now a "scene" that I have nothing in common with and to be honest not one that I wish to be associated with either.

I do worry that the whole message of vaping being a way out of smoking is being lost with these idiots that seem to have one idea of what damage that they might inflict on either themselves or to vapers reputation in general.

I guess it was bound to happen....but when you have actual vendors there not knowing what a genesis atomiser is, or MTL then we're in trouble

Here, Here. Do not wish to offend anyone but I am getting a little tired of "these people" thinking they are THE vapers out there. THEY are NOT - THE vapers are the ladies and lads struggling to find a decent simple setup, have no leaks, find a nice juice and a good throat hit so they never ever touch a stinkie again.

Haha that sounds like me. I know i look like i belong to this group blowing big clouds and have never smoked but thats the very reason i choose not to vape at vape jam and when i did i went outside because although i had a nice day if im 100% honest i was a little embarrassed to be classed as one of them because the way i looked, i even stereotype myself lol.

Reading a couple of vaping forums, I do feel like there are (at least?) two types of vapers. Those who are looking for a nicotine substitute or replacement, and those who have taken it up as a hobby and want all the latest bling to produce clouds. It's a shame, because although they use similar equipment, I don't think that they have anything in common.

In a way I hope that they do split and become two distinct communities, because to the outside world vaping is defiantly getting a poor reputation due to the cloud chasers. I've even seen someone recommend a mech mod to a new vaper.

Of course, the industry will follow the money, and the money will never be a simple MTL setup that stops us smoking.

Literally no offence taken what so ever. I know i look like one of them which is a little embarrassing as i stroll around with 2 sleeves, a beard, tunnels, black hoody etc but ive got a 40 a day for 20 years addiction under my belt, proper time served right there hahahah
