That's a hell of a scorch mark and it would take some crazy arcing to completely strip a screw head like that.

Try unscrewing the clamp downs and turn each top plate 180 degrees so that the outside of each top plate is now facing to the centre.

That's a hell of a scorch mark and it would take some crazy arcing to completely strip a screw head like that.

Well I gave it a good clean and used it a bit on my regulated mods but in the end I just took the cap and put it on my other goon.

The scorching just put me off using it, but turned out, at least on mine, that the goon 1.5 and standard caps are the same size but without the deck nearly touching it
