Planning to build my 3d squonker

Would this be possible? Want the squonk button be opposite side of the firing switch.

@Bardiel003 Yes in theory that would work, it does look as though you are making things a bit more difficult than they need to be, I'm a strong believer in "the simplest solution is the best" but it's your mod and if you like solving problems then go for it.

Are you set on a mech or have you considered using a mosfet set up? would give you more flexibility in the placement of components.

Mosfet =/?

Ahh I see. So rather suit simple copper plates and a firing switch. I would use a small chip to where. I would move the placements around Hmmm..

Yeah, no copper strip, use a battery sled and some wires and a traditional switch, let the mosfet take the amp load so the switch doesn't blow, you'll need to get handy with a soldering iron but it's not a complicated job, mod maker have wiring diagrams on their site.

Yeah saw it. It would be a bit bulky, seeing how the chip and resisted would reduce the Amp, which would then use 2 18650 battery. So hmm..

It would probably be a bit bulkier but you could still do it with one 18650, the mosfet itself is pretty small and with some planning you can hide it away with ease.

For your first attempt maybe just go with the traditional lay out, you'll learn lots from the process and then be better prepared to have another go with a more unique layout.

didn't realise you were over the pond, but there are a few options for squonk 510's it's just the MM 510's have got a good rep and the week i've been using mine it's performed flawlessly.

solid advice from @Bazz_74 , mosfet would probably be the best bet for a button on the battery side. you'd need to print the box ether taller or wider to accommodate that switch as i don't think i've seen one you could flush fit and have the battery sat against it. have a look at button options though, i only know what i've seen.

another option would be a top fire plunger like the coppervape

@Bardiel003 You could try something like this, positive end of battery down and conect it permanently to the 510 positive via the contact nut and then complete the circuit via the negative contact, you would have to secure the negative contact to the box to prevent the battery from becoming dislodged whilst using the button.
