IN ORDER TO PERFORM WEBSITE MAINTENANCE, OUR ONLINE STORE WILL BE TEMPORARILY OFFLINE. WE APOLOGIZE FOR THE INCONVENIENCE AND ASK THAT YOU PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER

Did I break it? If so did I win a prize

You're all winners in our eyes :)

Done ;)

Did the order come through OK?

Yep, got the order through ok. Now the next hideously complicated system we use to collect orders from our sales channels is having a hissy fit about an XML error :D

What I'll do is refund your paypal payment but leave the order in the system so when support have figured out what's wrong with the XML your order should be processed as normal.

It's weird, this was all working a couple of days ago so I'm wondering if the new Paypal module is doing something special

I've got a feeling that the cart is reporting the free items in a way that's making the order management throw a wobbly. Fingers crossed their support team works weekends.

Nothings simple :)

Sites back in maintenance mode until this is sorted

Hey Apes,

We've been working hard behind the scenes launching our sister site Welcome to Rebuildable Supplies - Rebuildable Supplies

There could well be glitches and we're also quite curious how the server will cope with loads of traffic as we've bought a new server purely for rebuildablesupplies.com so please have a browse around the site and try to break it :)

We're running a 10% discount code until the end of the month so feel free to use discount code BETATESTERS for 10% off.

Cheers :)

OK We broke your's - who's next?, Fasttech?, The company with the U in it's name? Perhaps ZT Needs a break so he can get on preparing stuff for Vapefest?...:D

Oh no need to refund, I'm not after something for nothing (although I do love your freebies!)..

Let me know if you have any problems and I'll put the order back through :)

I have to ask. Why the new site and name when you've made such a good name for yourself as Stealthvape?

Ok, I've priced the freebies at £0.01 and a test transaction seems to be fine. Would you mind putting that order through again to confirm? I refunded your original payment earlier.

Really appreciate the support :)

No problem, just done, order no. RNTUVAWEU

I have to ask. Why the new site and name when you've made such a good name for yourself as Stealthvape?

That's an excellent question, and one I've been asking myself over the last couple of months as it's been a huge amount of work.

Stealthvape is running a shopping cart called opencart and quite an old version of opencart with loads of modifications and custom code. This makes it pretty much impossible for us to upgrade to the latest version of opencart using the update scripts and even if we were able to manage that opencart isn't that flexible. We've chosen a different cart Prestashop for rebuildablesupplies.com which seems to have a lot more features than open cart and a much much more sensible postage and content management system. We want to be able to gradually develop more guides and how to's and have the sites main focus as rebuilding information something that isn't so easily done with stealthvape without loads of work and probably some significant downtime.

Stealthvape won't be going anywhere, but establishing another sales channel over the next 6 months or so will take the pressure off stealthvape and maybe give us the space to upgrade it.

Also we've had the rebuildablesupplies domain for ages and it's too good a name to not use :)
