I know exactly what you mean, there's nothing you can do about it unfortunately, it's annoying but I don't really find it to be a problem. If it bothers you just pull the drip tip off and flick the juice out (if you're outside) or dab it up with a cotton bud (if you're inside).

I know what you're talking about when you say the little silicone grommet inside the drip tip. There are stories of some people taking it out and using it to create a seal and I tried it, it did work but I soon realised it's far too much faffing about trying to reposition it when you need to refill the vivi nova. It's a solution to a problem that I soon realised didn't really affect anything anyway
