I think our government is too sensible - the current one anyway. No doubt when the loony left gets in again they'll need to fund their crazy policies somehow.
What they lose in tax they will gain on the NHS, and it's something that will be almost impossible to enforce. Liquids can be sold as food flavourings so we'll just need to find the nicotine which shouldn't be too difficult, and will be another consideration. Does any government want a blossoming black market in nicotine with the accompanying dangers and links to crime?

Savings on the NHS. I read somewhere that the NHS is already planning on which hospitals to close in 10 years time when there are no more lung cancer patients.
