Preferred Tc metarial

Have 26 and 28 gauge, went for 12 wraps at 2.5mm ID 26g came in at o.09 and its a lovely vape, still playing but at 470F at moment, definitely better flavour and smoother vape than the SS316L build I had in before. Maybe a better build but so far loving NiFe, is nice to work with to. Think I may be converted to NiFe now :2thumbsup:
Nice, glad you like it. 26 gauge is tough for dual coils as you really want to get the resistance up to around 0.15 for decent accuracy.

im loving the stealthvape ss316l at the moment, using the 28/29g in the supreme dual parallel coils 3mm id
10 wraps each 0.3ohms work really well in power and tc mode.

is a little lower than I would like but still a lot more accurate than 316L on a DNA200 mod, got to love DNA200's for playing!! Will be trying the 28 gauge soon though but really enjoying this vape so not in real hurry to change it.

Got round to doing some coils with the 28 gauge that came out at 0.16 for a dual coil set up and after a little playing around getting positioning right is a great vape. NiFe30 is nice to work with :2thumbsup:

I want to love SS316, but it doesn't always play nicely in TC mode, and I don't understand what I'm doing differently between builds to cause it work or not work. I will keep persevering though.

Just out of interest, why persevere with SS?

It's a nice wire to work with, and when it does as it's supposed to, it's lovely. It works fine in wattage. But As a TC wire, it seems safer than the ones that oxidise with heat, too.

And because I'm a stubborn ass who doesn't like the idea of being beaten. Am sure I'll learn a thing or two on the way to perfecting it!

Thats the only trouble with SS in TC, everything needs to be perfect. It is great when you get it right I agree, but NiFe is just as easy to work with and alot better response for TC with the same great flavour as SS and so far I have seen nothing saying anything bad about health issues with it.

If you like SS you will love NiFe I think

Yes, have been using nife too, I should just resign myself to a life of nife, but I keep getting the ss316 for another play! Tanks are currently approx half with ss, half with nife!
