How do, as I said in my newbie introduction post I only started vaping on Father's Day when my son gave me a Logic Compact to get me to stop smoking the roll ups, big ask after 40yrs. I have stuck with it but wasn't 100% satisfied with the experience so I spent the weekend looking on line for reviews relating to vaping, the main thing I gained was to go to a vape shop and ask for advise, so found online the nearest shop to me 30 miles away ( I live in rural Wales) went first thing this morning, I did phone first to make sure it was open because of present crisis, Well how pleased I was to have gone, the chap was fantastic, first off he didn't try to sell me anything just listened. I had gone with a certain device in mind after watching reviews on youtube ~ innokinT18ii. I looked at many different devices including the T18ii, he kindly let me try a few different ones, I finally decided on the innokin Coolfire Z50 wow compared to the logic compact what a fantastic and enjoyable device. Due to lack of knowledge and understanding I had been using 18mg pods with the logic, I used to smoke around 15 roll ups a day depending on my stress levels haha, he suggested tying 12mg instead, well he was right, the logic hit was quite sharp and not that pleasant, but as my son said better a way to get your nicotine hit dad. I've found the new experience today of vaping with this device smooth and enjoyable and have had no craving feelings to light up a fag like I had whilst using the Logic. Hope you don't mind my long winded post but feel happy and positive about my vaping experience. Forgot to say I chose Tobacco Golden Elizabeth flavor which he suggested because I used to smoke golden virginia. Very nice, looking forward to trying others.
Thanks for your time

First off, well done on quitting the cigs!! I must say it's a good story to hear as well so thank you for sharing. Too often we hear stories about how a vape shop just sold them some garbage or a device for DL when they really needed an MTL kit. Might be worth mentioning the shop so anyone in the area you live can know they are a good shop. Also, he did sell you a decent MTL kit indeed, was it the z50 with Zlide tank? I'm considering the z50 and have a few Zlide tanks myself I use on a regular basis!!
Welcome to vaping and enjoy!!

well done fella. these are the sort of posts we love to see.
there are too many popup shops that just want to sell whatever they want to get rid of so its always good to hear of a decent shop who just wants to advise and lets you decide.

Congrats man that’s half the battle is finding kit that works for you and the way you want to vape.

Hi it's got a Zlide , but not sure how important the tanks is, would you mind explaining

The tank is very important indeed. The mod, in this case the z50 is effectively the battery which provides the power. The tank holds the liquid along with the coil. The tank and the coils which it takes determine (along with the liquid of course) how good the flavour is, how much vapour and the type of draw. Some tanks give rubbish flavour and the coils don't last long and some give really loose draw and some tight. In my opinion you have a great tank there in the Zlide. Does that all make sense?

Fantastic, I've a lot to learn, all part of the fun and experience, thank you
