% question eucalyptus

hey folks been a wee while since I showed my head in this section

Anyways I been messing around and looking to start using eucalyptus instead of menthol in some of my normal fruit mixes I used 3% and it totally destroyed the fruits

do you think it will mellow out with a steep or should I defo drop the %

Is it Kandi Hed Eucalptus?

That's the one i use and i've found the sweet spot to be about 2%, i do use a hint of menthol as well though not the eucalytus on it's own, but does go well with every fruit i've mixed it with.

I'm looking at trying Koolada in place of the menthol just for a little experiment, see what it's like with the coolness but without the menthol taste.

Good question! I'd be interested to see what consensus is reached on this. I added Inawera Eucalyptus at 2% and it crapped over everything! Even mixing a duplicate amount of juice without the eucalyptus and adding it to the first batch didn't fix it.
