Hi,

I normally steep my e-liquids by leaving them in a dark box for a week or 2 before getting into them, as my preferred flavours are vanilla custard mixes or creamy mixed flavours. So these do take time to mature.
However I am kinda desperate to start vaping this custard I made as I am out of ejuice lol Any quick methods to suggest? Ive searched online and seen microwave technique and plastic bags in hot water etc. But which one should I go for and which is the easiest? I have a 100ml glass bottle so just wondering if its okay to leave it in hot water? do I take the cap off it?

Thanks

Depends on the type of custard, quite a few suppliers send it steeped, but all you need do is try a small amount. Steeping does vary many say the longer you leave the better it becomes. I'm a custard head, make my own and vape it within a day after mixing. So as said it's personal taste IMO give it a try, only you can decide if it's vape ready. The best is in a water bath hot not boiling lid off and every so often just spin the bottle to move the liquid around once the bottle gets hot remove and let it cool, the smell should also give you a clue.

I leave mine in a slow cooker on a low heat (works out about 60 degrees or so) with the lid loosened for anywhere from 4-6hrs. Every hour or so I give them a good shake. Once they've cooled down I add the nic and leave overnight. I'll shake them a good few times then they're good to go.

Thanks for that!
I make my own, been a good while since I bought from a company. I like making my own with all the recipes on here :)
I tried some earlier, but taste is a bit lacking. I can tell it does need a good steep. So far its been 2 days since I made it but need to vape as I'm dry on juice.

How long should I leave it in the hot water for?

Oh btw, mine already has nic in it so will this be a problem?

Heat might kill your nic level a little. Not worth worrying about though really.

I have made Grants Custard V1. Before I was making this with 17% custard , 2% dulce de leche and 1% sweetener.
But this one I made is 15% capella custard v1, 4% dulce de leche , 1% sweetener. Made it in 70VG 30PG.

Not tried the v3. Which ones are your fav vanilla custards?

Also made a 100ml of Mothers milk as well, think its V2 I made, I found it nice last time I made it in 50/50. So this time I made this one a 70VG 30PG as well.

Grants takes a long time are you mixing the flavours first ,letting them steep a week then adding pg/vg.

Next best I've done is reloaded fro UKV site, still needs a week to come good.
Cap.Custard V2 10%, Cap. Caramel V2 4%, FA Maple Syrup 2% mix steep 2 day's then add the rest. t's not bad even when mixed on 3rd day.
Other and it's a straight mix and vape : 15% Cap Custard V1, 3%DDL, .5%TPA Brown Sugar.

As a note use a whisk when mixing plenty of air in mix will cut down the steeping time.

I microwave my callicustard and its spot on. Exactly six seconds on high heat (800w) then shake vigorously.
