Had trouble finding a tutorial on how to rebuild the head of a Kanger T5 ce5 Clearomiser.
It's one of those naughty clearos that are designed so you have to buy new heads but turns out quite easy...
Original Rated 2.4ohms
1 wire bends to outside, the other to the inside
There's a flavour wick that rests on top of coil (not shown).
1. Rip it apart...
Nickel joints on end of original coil?
Wrap your coil separately - I used 0.2mm Kanthal on 2mm Silica.
You can make the wicks longer than the original.
Try 4 or 5 wraps (unlike in the pic!) - leave long so easy to poke through the tiny holes in the plastic head.
Once the wires are through the holes push coil down.
Then thread one wire back through the center of the head - one to the outside. Bend wires over...
And snip short.
The center one can be snipped so it goes about 2mm in - use small scissors.
Wack the coil back on the center post - Suggest test resistance at this point.
Wack your flavour wick on top if OK.
Tried with 6 wraps of 0.2mm Kanthal - too high 3.5ohms
With 4 coils of 0.2mm (32awg) Kanthal I got 1.8 ohms - huzzah
