Rebuilding PT Mini Coil - at my wicks end ;)

Hi All,

Having rebuilt my PT mini 2 a number of times I'm getting a little frustrated with the lack of taste - Vapour production is fine.

I've tried dozens of builds on the coil, different sized wicks, flavour wicks/no flavour wicks, multiple bundled 1mm wicks, twisted coils, 1.7 - 2.4 ohm wraps. and just about every permutation there of.

Each build looks fine but there is a distinct lack of taste, sometime no taste at all!!!!!

The best I've managed was, say, 50% flavour of the original head.

I've googled extensively and tried everything that I can think of and am now stumped.

My best method was:

2.5 ekowool
5/6 wraps, twisted legs
dry burn, adjust for hot spots
leave overnight in weak milton solution
rinse, dry on radiator.
fit, fill and let rest for 10mins.
but even at that the taste was muted and not satisfying.

I've order a few replacement heads, but as I remember, when new(ish) the flavour was awesome.

At the moment I'm trying it with Grumpys Hooch so I know it's a flavoursome juice.

I would appreciate any suggestions as I'm beat!!!!

Hmmmmmm, yeah that's worth a try. But would like to figure out why I can't replicate the original... Who out there can??? what's the secret.... is it something to do with Quidditch, magnets or the pull of the moon???

There's science here that I'm not getting!!!!!! it shouldn't be this hard.
