Made betelgeuse and snake venom yesterday. In the betelgeuse I added half of the sweetner first and was going to add to taste after that. However it is incredibly, horribly sweet. Would recommend starting without any sweetner.

The snake venom tastes a bit like mouldy sweaty socks. No peach at all just a vaguely unpleasant hint of coconut. Is it supposed to taste like that? I will steep for a week and if no improvement am going to up the peach dramatically.

Yes, this is normal, see quite a few post saying this will smell bad when first made, give it a steep and report back!

Found it too fruity, keep it on the list as taste is subjective, i recon anise needs turning up and fruite turning down. After ive experminted ill let you know how i got on
