Resistor connection to mosfet

Hi guys,
I've just started my very first build and am making steady progress but I'm unsure on my resistor connections. This may be a stupid question but here goes; I soldered the resistor to the mosfet (my first ever bit of soldering) and all was fine until I soldered on my wires! The resistor legs have been moved and I'm now not entirely sure they are touching the legs of the mosfet. Will they still do their job as the solder is connecting them, the mosfet and my wires all together? Or do they need to be directly connected to the mosfet?
Many thanks in advance

Will still do the job as long as there's a solid electrical connection.
Top tip for mosfets and resistors is to wrap the legs of the resistor around the legs of the fet a couple of times as tightly as possible, THEN crush the joint a little with pliers, THEN solder :)
