Rew wicking

Hi people how often do I need to re wick? I'm getting a sharp taste at the back of my throat when I vape can anyone tell me why this is when I re juice it is fine after 2 chuffs it is sharp any sergestions??

2 possibilitys come to mind initially
1 could be that your wicking with too much cotton
2 assuming your using a tank your vg/pg ratio could be a factor,higher vg will struggle in some tanks
I rewick about every 2-3 days but i do use about 90% vg

I'm using a dripper ( twisted messes v2) I'll try less wick cheers mate

Do you 'prime' the wick before you fire it back up? A drops of juice on to the coil let that soak in a bit, then fill 'er up.
And, do you dry burn the coil before rewicking??
Also: what wicking material do you use? What coils, which juice, what wattage....

And you should be only just able to pull the wick thro' the coil, not too much resistance, but again, not too little. Too much and it doensae soak and wick as well, too little and the coil will probably burn it.

Yes I prime the wick also I do dry burn the coil before wicking I use texts tuff cotton and the build was Claptam 7 wraps dule coil running at 75 w and the juice Is 70-30 more vg I have re wicked and seems to be all good [emoji3]

Could be as simple as your nic is too high. Now your realy getting lots of vapour the throat hit could be too harsh.
Just a thought.

In terms of how often to rewick its a how long is a piece of string question... just whenever it tastes bad/stops being effective..
