Just seeing this for the first time, i've got some lab time booked this afternoon, so will have a little play and see what this is like. Looks good on paper.

I made some up on the 15th or thereabouts. Have not tried it yet as I think @StrawberryRipple recommended a longer steep. How is it @Martvb60 ? Would it benefit from being left a bit longer?

Yes as with most custard the longer the better but even with my crap tastebuds it is good now, i think another 2 weeks and it will have matured nicely.

Over time I've ended up with several custard flavours so had an idea to see how good a custard could be by letting them do the work.
I've included Catalan Cream because technically it's more of a custard than a cream and It needed extra vanilla and more of a creamy hit hence the increase in the ccw cream and inawera vanilla.
I'd say this is maybe the V4 that should have been and imo better than V3 & V5.
