What's new

Russell Brand May Have Started a Revolution Last Night

Exactly whit. Except for some strange reason I typed it in a few times as capitals but it always came up in lower case.

Brand is a charismatic and engaging fool in his interviews, I know nowt of his televisual works otherwise, but what he is saying is nothing new, more said in a buzzy way, entirely suited to media, but if it can inspire new ideas, that could be good, what I would like to see him develop is more substance behind the flash, this article is a sobering viewpoint, even if the author can be a tad dismissive, but he makes a decent point about that near the end:

Nich Cohen is more than slightly locked into the traditional paradigm of left/right politics when what Brand was alluding to is an alternative to that entirely.

But then I think Nich Cohen is a pompous twat.

I agree, and dismissive, and patronising, but I thought he raised some good points too, and, Brand, I would like to see him flesh out his cunning propositions.

Brand was asked by Paxo what Brands suggestions for fixing all were,he replied along the lines of "Its not for me to make those kind of plans,I'm just a celebrity sat in a hotel room"

He did. What can I say, apart from what I think. I wouldn't put the burden of a new world order on the poor lads shoulders, and wouldn't want too. I'd like to see more, SORRY FOR FEELING THAT WAY EVERYONE! ;) He is, in his celebrity station voicing interesting opinions with exciting turns of phrases, at a time of uncertainly, well-founded cynicism (which can be a good thing), and a yearning for something new....I feel like saying the word zeitgeist.
It is refreshing to a degree, in quite a bland age of orange skin and X-Factor, where everyone appears to occupy a middle ground on the box and in the ballet, of bullshit talk, but, to me, it certainly ain't above scrutiny. Whilst at the same time, using that to expand the thoughts presented outwards, instead of falling into a mire of defending or attacking one single chap whom happens to be photogenic, m'lud.
